I am an ACTRESS
Once upon a time – over three decades ago, in 1986 – a bright, curious soul named Olya Aman was born. My early years were shaped by love and loss. Though my father’s tragic passing when I was just three left me an orphan, my childhood, while modest, brimmed with resilience and wonder.

I spent 11 years in a tiny village school, immersing myself in learning and literature, before graduating from my country’s top university. Thousands of books later, life carried me across the ocean to the United States, where a single pivotal encounter changed everything.

One fateful day, a fellow actor stumbled upon my scribbled stories and sketches. They saw in me what I hadn’t yet fully seen in myself: a vivid imagination paired with a distinct writing style. That spark of belief ignited a fire in me. Since then, storytelling has been my lifeblood. Novels, short stories, screenplays – if it can be written, I’ve likely penned it.

I AM AN ACTRESS! To me, acting is an intimate exploration of what it means to be human. Each role is a journey. Through every character’s eyes, I see new worlds, love fiercely, hate passionately, and live profoundly. Acting is my way of embracing the depths of human nature and sharing them with audiences everywhere.

Personality is the foundation of every great actor, and I’ve made it my mission to nurture mine. I’m relentlessly positive, intensely curious, and armed with a memory that refuses to forget. I listen with my whole being, respect deeply, and work tirelessly. My drive is my engine – I never stall, and I never stop.

I’ve embraced roles that challenge, thrill, and inspire me. My love for learning has taken me far, whether it’s mastering languages, honing accents, or exploring the intricacies of voiceover.

Laurence Olivier once said, “Acting is the finest and most noble thing you can do with your life, unless you’re lucky enough to be happy.” To that, I say: why choose? Acting is my happiness. Whether playing a barrel of laughs or a tormented soul, I am utterly, unapologetically in love with this craft.

So here I am – a storyteller, an actress, a seeker of truth in all its messy, beautiful forms. My story is still unfolding, but one thing is certain: the stage is my home, and the spotlight is my heart.
